Xavier and a friend were driving in the area of Highway 75 and Hamilton Street on November 5, 2017 when suspects drove up next to them and fired several rounds into their vehicle. Omaha Police responded to a shooting at 12:43 p.m. They located a vehicle that had crashed into the concrete barrier on the east side of the highway. Xavier was located inside the vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital. He later died of his injuries.
