17-year-old Stacy Hill was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was raised and educated in Red Lake Reservation. She was described as a good student who was popular with her teachers and classmates. According to her obituary, she enjoyed beading, drawing, reading, basketball, watching movies, and taking long walks with her family and friends.
Stacy was last seen alive in early September 2009, her remains were found on October 27, 2009, on the Red Lake Indian Reservation. Her death was ruled a homicide and currently open.
