Tina McMenamin was stabbed and sexually assaulted in her apartment on July 25, 1995. Tina was killed in the minutes before she was due to work at Godfather’s Pizza at 5:30 p.m. Tina had a single hair clutched in her hand that led police to Gregory Gabel, a mentally ill Lincoln man. A man matching Gabel’s description was also seen fleeing the crime scene. However, a different DNA test proved the hair was not Gabel’s. Investigations have not been able to prove a suspect in the murder.
