On October 27, 2020 at 9:45 p.m, Omaha Police were dispatched to 11255 Evans Street for a nature unknown with CPR in progress. Officers located Mercedes who was down inside the apartment. Mercedes was declared deceased at the scene. It was later determined that Mercedes was strangled to death.
