On September 5, 2014 at 10:23 p.m, Omaha Police responded to N 24th Street and Pratt Street for an accident. Officers made contact with Markquis who was suffering from injuries from an assault. It was determined Markquis’s yellow 2014 Chevy Camaro was stolen after the assault. Markquis later died due to his injuries sustained in the carjacking.
