Julie was last seen on October 19, 1995. On July 9, 1996, two boys swimming at O’Fallon’s sand pit near Hershey, Nebraska found Julie’s decomposed body. She had been weighted down. Her cause of death could not be determined. However, forensic examination determined she didn’t live long after her disappearance. After eight years of inquiry, investigators speculate that Julie’s death might have been due to a drug overdose. This may be a case of illegal disposal of a body.
