On June 2, 2018 at 11:44 p.m, Omaha Police were working the area of 11th and Farnam Street when they reported hearing gunshots. Officers located multiple victims. Jasmine was in the area with friends during the Taste of Omaha when two rival gangs began shooting at each other. Jasmine was one of several victims caught in the crossfire. She was transported to a local hospital where she later died from her injuries.
