Janee was leaving the Passion Lounge located at 108th and Q Street on December 15, 2013 at 1:49 a.m when shots were fired. Janee and several others were hit. When Omaha Police arrived, they located Janee down suffering from a gunshot wound. Janee was transported to a local hospital. She later died from her injuries.
