Daniel Robinson

On June 23, 2021, Daniel left his Buckeye, Arizona worksite in his 2017 blue-gray Jeep Renegade, to never be seen again.

Daniel was last seen by a worker at the well site outside of Buckeye, Arizona. He was seen leaving the worksite and going west, further into the Arizona desert. This coworker said that he was acting weird, staring into the desert, almost at nothing. Daniel mentioned about going home because it was supposed to rain. When the coworker looked at his phone to check the weather, Daniel walked to his Jeep and left. Later in the day, when no one was able to get in contact with Daniel, the coworker left the jobsite heading south down the road that Daniel went down. He came to the interstate, east would go back to town west would go further into the desert, he noticed fresh tracks going west. Many of the people in Daniel’s life also said that he was less like himself. Many believe this was due to a recent rejection from a woman.

This woman was questioned throughout the investigation. The woman told police that they hung out one night when he made a delivery through Instacart to the woman. After hanging out that night, Daniel would show up at her house unannounced, making the woman feel uncomfortable. She even told Daniel that and that she just wanted him to leave her alone.

Later that evening, Daniel’s father, David Robinson, reported him missing. However, extension searches would not start for a few days though. One officer did a search around the jobsite by vehicle, however, the vehicles were not able to get to some areas of the desert. They did do a search days later, with no signs of Daniel.

On July 6, 2021, Police searched Daniel’s apartment, no signs of struggle or anything was found. They did another ground search around the job site. On July 9th, David requested a civil air patrol. The patrol came up with nothing.

Almost a month later, Daniel’s Jeep was found in a ravine less than 3 miles from Daniel’s jobsite. The jeep was still in drive, had front end damage, broken windows, and all the airbags had been deployed. Inside the jeep, police found Daniel’s phone, keys, a hard hat with rain water in it, and his backpack with his laptop and extra clothes. A few feet away from his jeep, a inside-out shirt, a pair of inside-out socks, pants, work boots, and work vest. However, Police did not take any evidence from the jeep.

Buckeye Police pulled the accident report from the jeep and reported the jeep went up to 30 mph for less than 5 seconds before crashing and the ignition was cranked 40 times after the initial impact. However, the private investigator, hired by David, read the records as the jeep was going less than 30 mph at the point of impact, cranked over 40 times after impact, drove up to 11 miles after impact, and crashed four hours after leaving his worksite. Some believe that this was a staged accident.

Daniel’s father, David, has been conducting public searches for his son. Since his public searches have started they have found 6 human remains. One set of remains were found not far from the crash site, that police said they thoroughly searched.

David is trying to get Daniel’s case transferred from a missing person to a criminal investigation. There is a petition on the ‘Please Help Find Daniel’ website that was made by David.
