On October 21, 2017 at 2:36 a.m, Omaha Police were dispatched to the area of 4117 North 26th Street for a shooting. Officers located Damon down on the front steps suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics declared Damon deceased at the scene. At the time of the shooting, Damon was talking with friends in front of the residence.
