Ciera Locklair Breland

Ciera was reported missing to Carmel Police Department on February 26, 2022 by her husband. Her husband, Xavier Breland Jr., said that she left their Brookstone Park residence after 10 p.m. to walk to a nearby store. He reported she was wearing a black top and purple shorts, temperatures were in the mid- to upper- 20’s that night. She left her personal phone, her work phone, a burner phone, her ID, and her credit cards at home.

However, they don't know if Ciera made it home from a family trip to Georgia to visit family. On February 19, the family arrived in Cleveland, Georgia, where they stayed until the 20. During the visit with family, it was reported that she asked family if she could move back in with them. There were many signs that Ciera was planning on leaving Xavier. However, on February 20, Ciera left with Xavier to visit his mother in Johns Creek, Georgia. The last contact Ciera’s family had with her was February 21, asking if it was okay for her to come back the next day. However, she never showed up the next day.

According to family, Ciera would have never left her 5-month old son if she was planning on leaving. Ciera would talk to her family daily, so when they couldn’t reach her the days after the visit to Georgia. In a press release on March 2, Carmel Police Department named Ciera’s husband a person of interest in the case. He was arrested on an unrelated warrant.

If you have any information related to Ciera's disappearance, you are asked to call Johns Creek Police Tip Line at 678-474-1610 or the Carmel Police Department at 317-571-2500.
