On October, 23, 2019, Andrea left her place of employment, near 711 N. 108 Ct, to go to the store on her lunch break. Andrea made it back from the store, but didn’t make it back inside. Omaha Police were dispatched to the area at 4:26 a.m. for a down party inside a Toyota Camry. Andrea was located deceased inside her vehicle.
In 2021, Omaha Police announced a lead on the case. Detective Brandon Hahn told KETV 7 Omaha, they believe the man caught on security video tried to rob her as she was taking her break outside her job. They believe that the same man may be responsible for robberies at convenience stores around the area in the following days.
